Sofia graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Interactive Digital Arts and a double minor in Social Practice and Art History. Those years involved experimental performance videos, making artists books and exploring human interaction. All of which influenced the type of work she likes to do. These days she can be found working as Studio Manager at Franca NYC, a ceramics studio in Bushwick.
